Plasma

Meta Man built a plasma chamber,

clear and tall, a glowing womb of light.

Fluffy sat down, tail curled.

Meta Man tuned magnets by hand,

the way a man refines what he believes he’s planned.

The chamber woke. Soft violet fire swirled.

Meta Man smiled, triumphant, proud.

“It’s working!”

Fluffy watched, eyes wide, heart thumping loud.

Meta Man scanned the instruments,

the numbers climbing, sure and slow.

Fluffy blazed beneath the glow.

Meta Man marked the noise, and let it go.

He spoke of ionization,

each word precise, an oration grand.

Fluffy’s tail beat orthogonal,

and the plasma leaned, as if it understands.

“I’ve modeled its behavior!” Meta Man cried.

Fluffy wagged and leaned in close,

his pulse a tide.

The plasma flickered, and danced at his side.

Meta Man reached to turn the dial,

so sure of mastery, so sure of art.

Fluffy’s tail brushed the switch,

and set the chamber’s heartbeat to his heart.

Meta Man looked up.

“I have a model,” he believed.

All around the plasma breathed,

in time with Fluffy’s joy, wild and unperceived.

He wrote one word- stable,

and all around, the plasma breathed.
